this is a great beer.  I think with castle chocolate malt it could be even better but I'm not complaining.  I'll use up whatever chocolate I have first.

so I just brought the second keg of this upstairs and have been drinking it.  we are coming up on a this beer being a year old and it tastes awesome.  even the chinook is still in the nose and on the finish which is just what I was going for in the beginning.  obviously it's very clear now and you can just barely see light coming through.

 

I think next time I'm looking for a porter this will be it.   :cheers:

 

eta:  conveniently it uses WL002 so that means I make a batch of bitter galaxy (or my amped up ESB version) and harvest the yeast for this beer ;)
