I'm realizing now how old some of my hops are. I think my mt. hoods are from 2013 :(

maybe still okay?

I used some ctz from 2010 recently, it had been frozen the whole time.

I do pellet b/c I can't fit that much leaf in my freezer.  we are currently all out of freezer space from freezing garden sauce.

can't make Denny's Rye IPA without it :D

I'd still use 2013 pellets if kept frozen and vacced or nitro, no issue

yeup.  that's what I'm planning to use them in.  well that and a stout.  but I wasn't planning on dry hopping either of those with the mt. hood though.

Put my order in today, all new hops to me but not new in "rage" hops.  I see 2018 being more of a lager year for me.  Really enjoying a quality lager these days.

Hersberker

Idaho Gem

Hull Mellon

Thanks.

I'll look through the freezer tonight and make some hard choices.  I know I'm not throwing away that unopened pound of Amarillo, but I'll probably use it for aroma.  The rest of the previously opened packages should probably get the boot, I suppose.

Assuming I don't keep much else, I'll probably order a pound of Cascade for the stable bittering of APA with the Amarillo, and a pound of Crystal to use for my Dotted Cows.
