Cornie Keg as a Unitank?

Yeah, probably not ideal for clear beer. youd prbably need and extra dip tube to remove yeast. Plus you can't move the beer much since the krausen and cold break will get disturbed.

 

now that a unitank might be an option for me this actually would be my biggest concern.  that shit that gets stuck to the walls of the fermentor just above liquid level is pretty gross.

so how did the unitank end up after the yeast cleared?

 

It was great but never got super clear and when I opened the keg there still was a lot of yeast in there.    I'm going to do it again with my floating dip tube set up and see how that works out next.
