I've been using 7 minutes and half tabs, which I thought was a recommendation from the old GB

I'm making 10 gal batches so the full tab is about right for me.

Anyone use this version of Biofine? $21 on Amazon Prime for a liter shipped. Don't know how it compares concentration-wise to the above-linked product; maybe it's not equivalent: https://www.amazon.c...uct_top?ie=UTF8

I have not had found whirlfloc or gelatin to be much of a help in clearing my beer. The only thing that seems to clear it is extended time under refrigeration - usually crystal clear in 2-3 weeks.

Ken used that one and he seemed to have different results than I did with biofine clear.

There is more HERE.

TL;DR: I tried it a couple different ways (beer cold, pour in, don't stir... beer cold, pour in, stir... beer cold, rack on top of clarifier, etc) and I never got the beer where I wanted it. It was either CLOUDY or clear-ish. The batches where I used it and were cloudy ended up with a gel solution where it was clear in a day. If I'm using it wrong I don't know where I went wrong. Also, I did have a batch that was better but it still was not as clear as a gel'd batch. YMMV.

Comes down to fridge space. I have a mini-fridge kegerator (2 kegs only) and no way else to refrigerate kegs (except the garage in the winter). Someday I will upgrade to a keezer, but until then, 2-3 weeks means I'm usually drinking the beer while it's cloudy (which is ok but not ideal for some styles).
