Is anyone interested in starting a group buy of the Perlick 525SS from Rapids?they are $29 each, but at qty 25+ it drops a lot, to $23Perlick 525SS I'm in for six if we get this going.

yeah, they'd all have to ship to one person, then be repacked.

Probably wouldn't be too bad. The cost per unit to ship to you shouldn't be bad, maybe $0.50/unit and they're small enough that you could fit a bunch into a USPS flat rate box for $4.95. So, most people would probably end up paying a total of $5.50-$8.00 in shipping.Actually, they have a location in Cincy. You could just pick them up, right?(I'm assuming that this thread means you are implying that you'd be running the GB. )

I wasn't trying to volunteer, but I'd be willing to do it if we get enough commitments.I saw that, they're actually over the river in Kentucky just under an hour drive, if they have counter service it might pay off in shipping.

I'd be in for two... except I'm actually headed to Wisconsin next week so if I happen accross a couple for the right price, I'd probably pick them up OTC. But I won't be back until July 8th. Ya'll willing to wait around?

if this is the non-creamer version, I'm down for 3. Been kicking around getting the cheap one, but I figured may as well spend the money now, store them until I build a new kegerator (the KegOLith 2000 died on me.. moment of silence) and make it all purdy-like.

Any idea what the cost for the 575 (the one with the creamer) would be in a group buy? I wouldn't mind having the creamer, but not if it like doubles the price.

id be game for 2. JKoravos, let me know if youd be interested in bulking them together. Id be fine swinging out your way agin if we save a little more on the shipping doing that. I might push the number up to 4 depending on what my kegging looks like this year...might be doing more bottles, not sure yet.

I'm still down for the 3 I posted earlier if this is still happening. I am curious if resending to another zip code after they are received will still be a savings for us. Anyone have any math on this?

I don't have any math on it, just gauging interest, there doesn't seem to be enough to get the price break at 25 units. I'd wager that if you are just buying one or two it won't be much of a deal, but as individual quantity goes up so will the savings. For me needing six it would be a decent amount.
