It's getting expensive. There is a local guy that has produced a nice local wildflower for many years. 2 years ago I bought a 2 gallon bucket for $70.00. Just inquired and now it's going for $120.00. He has his own Orange Blossom varietal this year. It is delicious but it's going for $72.00/gallon. Yeah they have the best prices I have found too. Have you been happy with the product? FWIW their honey is not raw, it is flash pasteurized to 185F.

Bought several 5 gallon pails from them without issue.  Only place I can find raw honey any more is at farmer's markets with attendant boutique prices, and rarely in quanity.

Emailed him and asked. It's not even his own honey. He bought it from another producer. He does't even know if it's raw or not. No thanks at that price.

I just (in Nov) did a honey buy locally from a contact Guest had for guys around here (15gal).  Prices were $32-35/gal depending on the variety (at the time things available were clover, alpalpa, clover/tallow blend, sage, cranberry... that might have been it, he's supposed to eventually pack some raspberry, fireweed, and some others in the spring I asked him to give me a heads up). 

 

 

For the record the above guy is a packer.  The bee keepers pack in 55gal drums and ship to him, he slowly warms the honey (over 2-3 days) till it can be pumped so he can meter it into consumer sizes.
